In honor of all pioneering Women, who without agriculture would not be possible.
This scholarship is intended towards post-primary educational goals, such as college, trade school, certifications, or starting a business.
Rules and Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be female.
Must be a current or former participant in 4-H or FFA in Alaska.
Be a, high school senior (or home school equivalent), college student, or trade school student pursuing education in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field.
Demonstrate a strong connection to agriculture in Alaska through projects, leadership, or community involvement.
Application Requirements
Completed scholarship application form.
A resume or portfolio highlighting your achievements in agriculture, leadership, and community service.
Two letters of recommendation from mentors, teachers, or community leaders.
Award Details
One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually.
The scholarship funds must be used for educational purposes, including tuition, books, or supplies. Or livestock raising needs.
Deadline and Submission
Applications must be submitted by March 15th.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selection Process
A scholarship committee will review applications based on leadership potential, agricultural involvement, and alignment with the values of the scholarship.
Finalists may be required to participate in a short interview with the selection committee.
Recipient Responsibilities
Scholarship recipients must agree to share updates on how the scholarship has supported their educational journey.
Recipients may be asked to attend or provide a statement for future scholarship events or promotions.
Disqualification
Any false information provided in the application will result in disqualification.
Failure to adhere to the scholarship’s purpose or rules may lead to the withdrawal of the award.
